From box to basil in 21 days.
No soil, no sunlight, no green thumb required. Here's how your QROOT garden grows dinner while you go about your day.
-
Unbox & set up
2 minutesLift the garden out, place it on your countertop, and plug it in. The LED panel and pump are pre-wired - no tools, no wiring, no manual decoding. If you can plug in a lamp, you can set up a QROOT.
-
Fill the reservoir
30 secondsPour water into the reservoir until the float indicator says full. Add a capful each of Nutrient A and Nutrient B (included in the kit). The reservoir holds enough water for 3 weeks - you won't touch it again for a while.
-
Drop in the grow pods
1 minutePlace the grow sponges into the baskets, seat each basket into a port, and cap with a dome. The sponges are pre-cut to hold seeds at the right depth. Any port you aren't using stays capped to keep the reservoir clean.
-
Add your seeds
30 secondsTuck 2–3 seeds into the slit of each grow sponge. Use any seeds you like - basil, mint, lettuce, spinach, coriander, cherry tomatoes. The LED timer runs automatically: 16 hours on, 8 hours off.
-
Harvest & eat
21 days laterSnip greens at the stem when they reach 10–15 cm. Most herbs and greens regrow after cutting, so one planting gives you multiple harvests over 2–3 months. Your kitchen now has a permanent salad supply.
